'McQueen' Its Grim Up North ... Status : IN PRODUCTION The story of Nick and Sam and Northern suburban life for the youth of today. Based in an everyday small town on the outskirts of a large city shows how ignorance, missed placed anger and confusion can end in tragedy. The boys, one a loner, the other the new kid, both keep themselves to themselves but some how need each other. Why isn't life as easy as it should be?

The screen is Black

Road traffic noises can be heard, also sirens as a police car pulls up. The sirens are turned off. The sounds of foot steps running, a door kicked open.

Silence

A gun shot, [pause] then another gun shot.
Loud screams, shouting and foot steps franticly running.
The sound cuts to silence, the screen is still black.

Fade to:

Early morning Ext pub.

All in silence.

There are police and paramedics outside the pub, a body is being wheeled into the ambulance, members of the public are sat on the curb crying, police tape off the area. We can just make out the pubs name… 'The William Wilberforce'
